The Cayuga County Case Study webpage will be updated over the next few days and then work will begin on a Final Summary Report to be submitted to the NYS Attorney General’s Office through the File A Complaint webpage: https://ag.ny.gov/file-complaint/corruption-wrongdoing
As part of this investigative process, numerous gaps were observed throughout the legal system at both the local and state levels. Upon completion of the Final Summary Report, including a Summary Ethics Report, an additional Report will be compiled that will identify those gaps as well as recommendations. This gap assessment report will be submitted to the NYS Governor through the public portal….or as an open letter on the ReportAbuseCayuga.com website. The recommendations will be more about bigger pictures changes should be considered based on the observations made throughout this investigative process which has been going on for several years.
I am also considering writing some articles discussing some of these legal ethical issues as they apply regardless of the industry. Stay tuned and please keep checking back on the webpages listed above as more information will be posted over the next couple of days.
Just for the record, this whole thing started out dealing with a personal situation, however, once I became aware of the extent and type of activity happening in Cayuga County, NY...I resigned from my position at Cornell University to dedicate myself to getting the attention this issue deserves. I am not being compensated or working for any public or private entity as part of my investigation, nor am I being reimbursed for any expenses...I am conducting my piece of this investigation on with my own resources and more importantly - within my network. I will not rest until this situation is resolved.
