Cayuga County Law Enforcement and District Attorney to Speak at Community Event
September 25, 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:00 p.m.
This Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, the Cayuga County Sheriff and District Attorney will speak at community event. The event will take place at the Booker T. Washington Community Center located at 23 Chapman Ave., Auburn, NY 13021.
Speakers include Auburn Police Department Chief James Slayton, Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck and Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci. The event is hosted by the Harriet Tubman Center for Justice and Peace.
This community event will be moderated by Mr. Bill Berry and will consist of presentations followed by a question and answer sessions. Mr. Berry stated in a news release that the goal of the event is "connecting bridges" between law enforcement and the community. Mr. Berry stated this event is not meant to focus on any particular policing incident. The event is free and open to the public and you can get more information by sending an email to Bill Berry.
