It’s Almost Time To Celebrate – Only One More Month Away!!!
I just looked at the calendar this morning and realized that in only ONE month…a mere 30 days away…I will be having my 2nd year wedding anniversary!!! It has been nothing short of an incredible ride and journey and I am planning a really big celebration! All of the hard work and effort I have been doing to get both my mental and physical health in prime condition continues to be working! I literally feel better than I did before I even started college. I am proud to announce that I am in excellent shape for my upcoming 2nd year anniversary celebration.
However, for as big of a 2nd year wedding anniversary celebration that I am planning, I am definitely going to need some help with logistics and trucking of a variety of things around. One of the very cool things that happened to me along the Social Justice Road Trip 2024 is I just found out that a young professional who I was mentoring when I was recently working as a part-timer at the Cornell University College of Human Ecology (taking care of my health), has gotten his trucking and logistics business going! He had just started working at Cornell and he showed interest in professional growth so I set up time every two weeks on my calendar as part of a mentoring process – like what is described in the article “Giving Back…The Importance of Mentorship”. We spent a substantial amount of time talking about standard operating procedures, process mapping, the Deming model, and we were both trying to learn a new software the college was implementing. We had some really great and informative meetings right up until when I voluntarily resigned from Cornell University due to serious abuse of some of their policies. Either way, I did make it a point to have a last meet and wish this young professional well in his career…and the fact I see he got his business up and running…in the spirit of my article on mentorship, I want to give credit where credit is due and to congratulate this young professional on his new business:

…and for a job well done in taking our mentorship sessions so seriously! I have no doubt if I were to hire Strong Oak Logistics to help me plan for my 2nd year wedding anniversary celebration…that Kyle would take that project on with the same vigor as with everything else that he does! Congratulations Kyle!
For any other professionals in a new job…married couples…pet birthdays, etc.…and to all of you Sweeties out there getting ready to celebrate your upcoming 2nd anniversary too between now and November 26, 2024….I send you all big hugs, warm kisses, and lots of love and wish you all a Happy 2nd Year Anniversary too!!!!
