Remembering The Warnings Of 1984
As I have continued driving around the country to see what reality looks like on the ground as it appears today, I could not help but remembering the classic novel called “1984” written by George Orwell. Given the number of security cameras…everywhere…and the general direction the United States and the rest of the world has been heading, it’s hard not to be somewhat in awe from a book that was written in 1949…over 75 years ago…yet I could make a very strong argument that novel has more applicability today than it did when it was first written and later republished to serve as a reminder of what to watch out for when it comes to the government and politics when corruption takes hold.
While it has been sometime since I last read the book, the warnings and predictions still hold true today and I am unhappy to report based on my cross-country travels these last three years…that George Orwell’s literary masterpiece is coming to fruition in our world today. For those who are interested, and I would strongly encourage everyone to listen, in the audiobook, thankfully the full version is available if you have eleven (11) hours of free time to learn about your future…while we still have our freedom…temporarily and evaporating faster than the speed of light and sound.

There are several 1984 book reviews posted online; however, I would suggest listening to the entire book. I would go a step farther and encourage everyone to get into the habit of feeding your mind while traveling and listening to audiobooks. I would also encourage people to look around the world we live in and compare notes to what George Orwell has been warning us all about…and then you too can join me in laughing at the whole situation that really didn’t sneak up on us at all…we were all too busy trying to cause pain and suffering to each other to notice what was being done to ourselves by our Big Brother…in the Governments that rule us all…and it’s only going to get more fun for everyone involved.
